Tick tock, My wall clock reminds of my fate that is high,
Too strong to break Too heavy to shake
Kiss me with the kisses of your mouth, This is the voice almost in the air now.
Teaching is a calling not a profession, Don't mistake this for a chicken and egg question
I married a teacher for a wife maybe a companion, But all I get are rough handling for a caressing,
They said we won’t last , it made us laugh. But deep down I knew it to be true.
She looks at all those letters, once perfumed but now
Tired and forlorn, My gaze smirks at the moonlit sky,
I have been robbed of my treasure. It all started yesterday in my routine farm checks,
When I met you, I met myself, Laughter and cuddles defined our dates,
Baby when we lie down, I want us to do so in unison.
